Technology Testing and Performance Validation

Applied technology performance testing in an applied setting provides developers with real-world validation and demonstrates reliability, efficiency and compliance to prospective buyers, Our goal is to help our technology partners build credibility with clients, investors and regulators, shorten acceptance timelines and reduce the risk of failure.

Available performance testing facilities available to Field Capacity clients include:

• Pumphouses (built to municipal spec.) with 6″ steel line in from a raw water lake or well to winterized 2-level station, includes metering/filtration/data.

• Dual-train head-to-head raw water treatment testing rig with large capacity storage for shipped sample water from any source.

• Industrial/Commercial wastewater storage ponds, includes local winery+microbrewery waste inputs, immediately surrounded by orchards/fields for treatment/aeration+crop nutrient trials and application.

• Commercial-scale Greenhouse/CE compartments, includes individually controlled irrigation and wastewater/recirc/fertigation, plus overhead fixed camera monitoring capabilities.

• Truly unique experimental tree park, includes 35-88 4x4m pits for ‘plug-and-play” tree testing with integrated base sensor platform for tree health monitoring/experimentation.

• Open field crops of various/customized variety, includes buried or above ground irrigation potential, storage for drones/robotics/data collection.

• Table grape + commercial vineyard rows, includes wide varieties and customizable configurations and soil structure.

• Dedicated orchard rows, including wide variety of apples, stone fruits with customized widths/soil structures and irrigation systems.

All facilities are potentially managed to client specifications, with power, historical growth metrics data for comparison, and ‘agnostic’, third-party scientific trial design/oversight/reporting/refinement advisory services available.
